My Goals for this Year:
I have had this goal for a couple of years, but I want to make it a reality this year.
1. Get my work published. I am pulling together a book of poetry that I have written over this past Summer. I also have hundreds of short stories I have written. I want to pull them into one book, and get them published.
2. to not worry
3. to be a better person, and a better friend
4. to think of others before myself
......
5. to take care of my family
6. to become physically fit
7. to walk everyday and exercise everyday
8. to meet some friends I have made on my blog
9. to seek God and make my way back to him...
10. to find a job I would love
.....Nita....
leave a comment about your goals and I will enter your name in the drawing. I will post photos this week of the prizes.
Hi Nita!
ReplyDeleteI love to read others goals...but I tend to get overwhelmed and don't know where to start with my own! I'm also not good at new years resolutions! Hmmmm...maybe I will try to compose a list. Baby steps right?
Happy New Year Nita!
Robin
Those are fine goals, Nita.

Wonderful goals. I think however, if you do #1, your #10 will have been completed as well.
ReplyDeletePraying that you are able to meet all your goals for 2010, Nita. Happy New Year to you and Elizabeth. I think of you and pray for your often.
ReplyDeleteI love your goals! I hope you get your book published! I think your writing is very good and have always admired it. Prays for the new year!
ReplyDeleteHi sweet Nita!!! You've been on my mind so much lately and I've been saying little prayers that you are doing wonderful...
ReplyDeleteThis is a great list of goals!!!! I tend to not set goals either because I don't want to set myself up to fail but now I realize now that if I don't have any goals, I'll not achieve anything at all!!
I think my first and most important goal is to lose weight and become more physically fit as well. When I feel good I can get SO MUCH accomplished...dragging around all of this weight just slows me down ~ this goal also includes walking daily too!! I feel that if I can take care of this issue first, all of my other dreams and goals will be reached as I will have the energy to be more creative, hold classes in my studio, and basically be a more productive person in all aspects of my life!
Please do pursue getting your work published Nita, you are so very talented!!!!
Wishing you a wonderful and blessed New Year sweet girl!!!! Please tell Elizabeth hello ~
hugs and love,
Dawn
Nita, Your goals are much like mine... Better health, reduce weight, do not worry or fret, get some of my writing published, remember to give back, serve God the best I can, enjoy my friends and family. Those aren't in order of importance, I just wanted to jot them down quickly.
ReplyDeleteMy pastor wrote this yesterday on worry. She has gone through some trials with her health this past year. It spoke to me and I thought you might glean something from it too:
"Worry is not caused by what exists outside of us. No, worry is caused by what is going on inside of us. Ps 4:8 is written by David when he is fleeing for his life... but in the middle of it all, David isn't paralyzed by panic. I keep telling myself that it isn't a secret handshake or form...it's a relationship with the Prince of Peace."
By the way, you look wonderful in your photo. I pray you achieve your dreams and goals. Let me know when you get published. I'll be in line to buy a copy!
Blessings,
Nita Jo
