~ Broken down barn on country road~

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, Confusion into clarity...It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense out of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow."

  9. Amanda: Isn't that that so true? All old buildings have a story. I got a new photo this past weekend of an old house and I am going to write a story about it and post it this coming week.

  12. Nita I was just catching up with your posts. You and your family have continued to be in my prayers including your father. I've prayed for comfort and peace as well as it be his will all goes smoothly and positively. Speaking of positively, I positively love your photos of roses and barns! Beauty and mystery, what a combination. Gratitude truly changes on perspective on situations. The ironic thing is is that nothing has changed in our situation but our perspective. At the point we become grateful we see through the eyes of our high power what he has intended for us. Truly everthing we need is all within us. It's only when we become open we access all that God has already given us.

    Love and hugs!

  16. Great photo!! I would love to spend a few days right there in that peacefulness.......nap, draw, paint, nap, write, think, nap, write, have a picnic with fruit, cheese, crusty bread and white wine. Then nap again.

Come back recharged. That is what I think of when I look at this pretty photo.

  18. those word are so true, I like how it brings the postive to a negative. we need to reminded of this, I know I am the first to say all things happen for a reason and not always live by what I say...something I myself need to work on. Thanks for the wonderful postive words....
