I saw the Red Bud tree in the park as I drove past to go to my favorite spot to bird watch. I looked at it and was amazed at its beauty .

I had drove past that tree many times over the years, never really looking at it thoroughly. But the other day I stopped to look at it.

A huge limb was broken off . And it had a crack that ran down the side of it.

At the base of the trunk it had a huge hollow spot with a hole in it. You could see through the hole to the other side.

Yet, the tree was blooming.

She was broken, cracked and even hollow. Yet she was alive and was blooming.

My heart leaped at that.

She was living...
She was blooming....

  5. Nita,
I think God opened your eyes to really see the tree, so He could let you know that even though you have a hole in your heart...you are alive...and you can still bloom!!!

  13. We have those trees too. I can see them from my balcony.

You got the message! I got it when I saw plants breaking through rock and cement and growing.

    xoxo
