My story for you tonight is this song...
Sunset Not Forgotten by Shawn Mullins
1st video, 1st clip

I read a quote once that said, "Sometimes the most poignant people in life are the tragic ones." I think it is true.

  4. Hi Nita,

I have been thinking about you and asking the Lord to lift the clouds and show you His light in your aching heart. Asking Him to lead you to many little treasures this weekend and fill your heart with His love for you. I love you girl and am praying you through this valley of shadows. I have found that some of the darkest shadows are cast by some of the most beautiful and big things. Just a thought my friend. Huge Hugs to you today.

    Love, Laurie in Ca.

  8. Nita that was lovely. When my husband felt down during his illness, he said the Shawn Mullins song 'Lullaby' seemed to play on the radio or wherever he happened to be, and it used to make him feel better. He said it was his anthem.

  9. Hi Sweet Nita
Our rest is on the mountain tops when the sun is shining, but we grow when we are in the valleys. God is in both places and He is using them to conform us into an image...His very own. How does the refiner knows the silver is ready? It is when he can see his own reflection in what he has melted.
Keep looking up for your help.
    Blessings and many prayers,
    Pam
