Photo Challenge....

~reflection of a robin with a heart~

{ Note: I have not been able to get links to work on my posts for about 2 weeks. But, I do have Donna's link on my sidebar if anyone wants to see her photos and see the other participants links for their photos.}

Donna from Made in Heaven started this photo challenge.

Darah at Fickle Muse, hosted it this week picking the date and the theme.
This weeks challenge was liquid.

I was asked to host the next photo challenge. I have chosen the date June 6Th for the next challenge and the theme will be keys.

Anyone who wants to join us in this please leave a comment and I will put your link on for the challenge next week. { I will hopefully have it figured out why the link isn't working by then.}

I took these photos over the last month. With all the rain we have had I have tried to bring something positive out of it.

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, Confusion into clarity...It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense out of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow."

A Prayer....

~Red Winged Blackbird on Winter Wheat~
I lift a prayer up to God today for all the lonely and lost souls of the world.
I pray to you God that through your infinite mercy and grace that you would comfort those who sorrow. And lift them from their despair.
That you would set true Christians around the lost to lead them to Salvation.
I pray that you heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.
Please help those who are addicted to drugs to be released from their prison.
I pray for those who are mentally ill to have peace from the torture of their own minds. I pray most of all that our eyes would be open to the suffering of our fellow men and women who surround us daily. And if it is in our power to help them we would do so.
In Jesus name I ask these things.
Amen

But if you have nothing at all to create, then perhaps you create yourself. -Carl Jung

Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it; Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.

Infinite riches are all around you if you will open your mental eyes and behold the treasure house of infinity within you. There is a gold mine within you from which you can extract everything you need to live gloriously, joyously, and abundantly.

These are pictures I took in the past few days. I hope you enjoy them. I am kinda stuck on roses right now. I just see so many beautiful ones everywhere.

Purpose....

I took this photo after a big storm. The oak leaf had been torn from its branch by the never ending rain and wind, and a piece of it was gone.
Yet it was so beautiful and green laying on the pebbled blacktop..
Many of us think we are used up and have no purpose.
But that is not true . As long we are alive God has a purpose for us.
You may be torn by the pain of life. Beaten down by bad choices, and trying to figure out how to remedy it. I have been there. Turn to God.
He is the only way I make it day by day.
There are moments of anguish so strong in my life that the only way I make it out of bed is by praying. I battle physical pain daily. And it wears me down completely at times.
But God always helps me through.
I leave you with this scripture tonight.
Ecclesiastes12:13
I am asking for prayer tonight. My Dad starts radiation tomorrow please pray it goes well.
