I took this photo after a big storm. The oak leaf had been torn from its branch by the never ending rain and wind, and a piece of it was gone.
Yet it was so beautiful and green laying on the pebbled blacktop..
Many of us think we are used up and have no purpose.
But that is not true . As long we are alive God has a purpose for us.
You may be torn by the pain of life. Beaten down by bad choices, and trying to figure out how to remedy it. I have been there. Turn to God.
He is the only way I make it day by day.
There are moments of anguish so strong in my life that the only way I make it out of bed is by praying. I battle physical pain daily. And it wears me down completely at times.
But God always helps me through.
I leave you with this scripture tonight.
Ecclesiastes12:13
I am asking for prayer tonight. My Dad starts radiation tomorrow please pray it goes well.

Dear Nita, my blog today starts with a photo of a fallen leaf...
A project I just finished for a magazine involved dredging up memories, and the last few days have been difficult. Take my hand and keep going. Loss of a spouse is #1 on the stress list. Even if you don't feel like it, you must somehow take care of yourself.
love, Colette xoxo
I am so happy you have God in your life Nita. He has pulled you through some pretty tough situations.
I love the photo of the leaf. What camera do you have? It takes such beautiful pictures!
Hey lady, I really wish you would come participate in the Father's Day ATC Swap. I would love to see an ATC made by you.
Please send me your Father's address so I can send him a card and of course he is in my prayers.
God Bless You
Hugs

Nita,
Of course I will pray for your Dad! I just came back from and errand and have a little picture of Jesus in my visor. I was at a stoplight and gently touched it and said "It's you and me...and together you will see me through"
((Nita)) Love you!

Kimberly: Thank you dear friend. I really appreciate the prayers for Dad. He looked so sad today. My heart just broke looking at him.
I rented a movie and went over there this evening. I ended up watching Mom and Dad sleep but somehow it was comforting.
Sending you love, Nita
Thoughts and prayers to you and your dad.
Dear Nita,
Beautiful pictures and quotes to go along side of them. I am partial to the wild red roses. They are beautiful in their wild state, as opposed to the perfectly formed ones that everyone associates roses to be.
If I were a rose, I would be the wild red one, imperfect but a rose none the less:) I love you girl and am praying for your heart as the pieces mend one day at a time. I will pray for your Dad as he goes through radiation treatments. Praying for rest and bits of joy for you too!!! Thank you so much for sharing the beauty of your world with me. You make me smile:)
Love you, Laurie in Ca.
