Please listen to song if you have time :)

We are breakable. Our hearts are made from something so strong yet so soft. We can be crushed by words. Crushed by those we love. Before we speak we should think, is this going to hurt the person I am about to say this to?

i am as guilty as anyone. But I want to live a kinder, gentler life..

My thoughts have been with you all. I hope to catch up on some visiting this week.

I have been working on a story I want to post this week. I hope everyone is having a good holiday season. Elizabeth and I have our white Christmas tree up, the one with the pastel lights..

We decided we didn't even want ornaments on it because it looks so beautiful without them.

I have savored the tangerines that are at the store right now. Relished hot cups of tea in the mornings after I have walked the dogs.

Went for drives and just contemplated things..

Hope you love the song, it is one of my favorites.

xoxo Nita

you are absouletly right..we are breakable and I've said this before, something so small on our face can be so huge in words, and you know the people we love are the first ones to hurt us, why is this? is becouse we are not strangers so they feel more at ease, anyways it isnt right! I am so quilty as well, and I ask God to forgive me every night when I go to bed, if my words or actions have hurt or offended anyone. I dont mean to be that way, I am not that kind of person. we put our tree up and all I have on it is clear lights, white beads, red, silver & gold balls, I think simpler is pretty sometimes. you'll have to post your tree, I bet its very pretty, pretty like your heart and soul. I am so glad to hear from you.
HUGS TO YOU ALWAYS

Nita, I loved both songs but Breakable was my favorite. Thank you for sharing it. I've been thinking about you. I love that you and Elizabeth put up the white tree! I wanted an all white one and got voted out......Isn't it wonderful to just sit and look at?
Glad to see you back sweet friend!

Wonderful thoughts. I, too, would like to be kinder and gentler. I think that by s.l.o.w.i.n.g. down we all ourselves the space to be more patient with ourselves and with others.

I hope that you are finding peace in this Season.

If you enjoy uplifting Christmas stories, I have shared several this month on my blog.

God bless,
Elizabeth
