Comfort...

I have been reading about the race to contain the Swine Flu. I think it is on every body's mind.

I have also been reading some scriptures this morning and wanted to share them. I hope they comfort you like they did me..

Psalm 91:14-15

14 The Lord says, "If someone loves me, I will save him. I will protect those who know Me.
15 They will call to me, and I will answer them.
I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them.

When it is our time to go we will go. But God takes the sting of death away from us. I have had many deaths in my family. And fought many health battles. But we can't live in fear of dying. It robs us of being able to live.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hebrews 10:35-36

35 Do not lose the courage that you had in the past. It is a great reward. 36 You must hold on, so you can do what God wants and receive what He has promised.

Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God..

Psalm 91:4
He will protect you like a bird spreading its wings over its young. His truth will be like your armor.

Psalm 75:1

God, we thank you.
We thank you because you are near.
We will tell about the wonderful things You do.

Psalm 3:3

But, Lord, You are are my shield.
You are my wonderful God who gives me courage.

Job 9: 10

God does wonderful things that people cannot understand.
He does so many miracles they cannot be counted.

I am saying a prayer today for everyone reading this that God comforts your heart.

xoxo Nita

Thank you Nita. We all need prayers. My daughter is at the doctor's office right now. Thay think that she might have the flu. I picked up my grandbaby after work yesterday and he spent the night with me and is still with me. His other grandma kept him yesterday. Christy is so sick and her body hurts all over. I will have to take him back to his other grandma's in the morning before I go to work. We all have to help each other. That is what we are suppose to do. I hope she doesn't have the flu and I don't want my grandbaby to get sick. I have been spraying Lysol like a crazy woman! LOL

I like all those verses. I'm going to have to read them again and then maybe mark them in my Bible. I sure hope Elizabeth's tests turn out. I don't know if I could have handled those tests as well as she did, I'm impressed. Give her a hug. Know that I'm sending you hugs too!

Love,
Vickie

Oh, Beautiful scriptures!

I put something up about the
flu and how to help stop the
spread of it, because I have
gone to blogs where some people
seem to always get sick.

My dd sometimes gets the flu
or a cold. I take care of her
and I never get sick.

I tell myself I will not get
sick and I never do. I think
it might be because I take the
necessary precautions to not get
it while taking care of her.

I wash my hands and under my
finger nails, air out the house,
take extra vitamin C and garlic.
Drink the amount of water I need,
I think helps flush out toxins. Eat
right helps. Stay away from sweets.

I found a list of healing scriptures online.
I put them up on my blog.

God Bless You and Yours!!!

Hi Nita. Thanks for reminding me of God's promises. Sometimes, I look at the wind and the waves and forget to keep my eyes on Jesus. He puts everything in perspective. I hope that your own heart was encouraged as you wrote this post. I pray that God will give you peace as you wait for Elizabeth's test results.
