i keep these feathers in a jar by the sink, and close to my heart. i have collected them over the years in my walks through the woods. my sister also collected some of them for me in the woods where she lives... they make me think of her.

I love the way you were able to resize the picture in your post below and use it for your header! It is a wonderful picture - I loved the butterfly and the dragonfly. The feathers are beautiful too ... I love how certain objects remind us of important people and things in our lives.

love the collage! I collect feathers too- but most are the boring, big black ones from the buzzards that sit outside in our trees!

I also collect feathers. They go so well with my birds' nests and my general love of birds.
I think finding a bright Blue Jay feather on the ground is like a smile from God.
