Brenda's Photo Challenge...

{ Please click on photos for a wonderful view}
I took this photo of a tobacco flower on crushed orange brick.. The tobacco flowers are ethereal in the way the float silently from the trees to the ground.

I stood under the branch of the tobacco tree one day for a few minutes just to watch them fall...

These Lilies are in my yard. I love the bright orange of the lily and the wonderful contrast of the yellow center and the green foliage.

The colors are married to one another in magnificence...

Go to Donna's Made in Heaven for links to the other participants. I am a bad blogger. I don't have the photo challenge links done yet on my favorites. I am doing it this week, I promise. Smile..

I forgot to add that Joni from Morning Coffee is hosting the challenge this week..The theme is orange. Orangecha glad I didn't say banana? Ha! Joni is an absolutely wonderful person, and so creative.. please check her site out.

I've never seen a tobacco flower before. It's pretty.

So is the lilly in your yard.

Hope you are feeling more upbeat today.

It's going to take a long time to heal.

I spent time and read your whole blog the other night. I could tell how much you loved your husband and how much pain you are going through.

I wish there was something I could tell you that would make you feel better. But, there isn't. When you love someone that much you are going to hurt when they leave.

I cried the whole time I read your blog.

My brother had a stroke about 6 weeks ago and is paralized on 1/2 of his body so he is going through a lot of what your husband did.

He finally got to go home so I felt much better and like he was going to be ok. After reading all what you went through and how well your husband was doing and then out of the blue he died made me very scared for my brother again.

I can understand a little bit of what you are going through but not all of it as I'm not dealing with my husband of many years.

I want you to know I'm here if you ever want someone to talk to. I won't tell you you should feel better or that you will be fine becuase I know that is not true and not what you want to hear anyway.

Hugs,
Joanne

Isn't it amazing how the different orange daylilies can be so different? Some of yellow inside, some burgundy, some a ruffled petal, some straight and spiky.
I'd love to see a photo of the tobacco flower tree, too.

Like many others, I have never heard of or seen a tobacco tree. What a magic few minutes standing under it when the flowers drifted down :-)

Thanks for visiting my blog. The festival was fantastic, as usual :-) I have my orange photos posted now if you want to visit.
