He intoxicated me with his presence.

It was the sight of him, the smell of him, the very taste of him.

He drew me in totally and completely.

His kindness and compassion kept me his willing prisoner.

In reading this post and your last one, I just remembered something my grandma told me once when I was very young. She said to hold my head up high, and think to myself,"I'm young, I'm beautiful and I'm in love". I had totally forgotten that. We can be in love with Jesus, and with life and that puts a light in our eyes that can't be extinguished! Thank you for your encouragement. And yes, I too, would love to fall in love again someday, a long time from now, I think. Shhhh...
