Elizabeth was making Easter baskets up last night for the little ones in our family, and handed me this flower that fell off one of the baskets.
I did what I always did when I was a kid. I put it behind my ear.
I took this self portrait with the flower Elizabeth gave me to remind myself to hope in small things. And how something so simple as a flower can make me happy.
It finally quit raining yesterday! I was so happy that it finally stopped. I took a picture of the sunset last night, and when I went to turn around to go back in the house, the moon was out.
So I got the sun and the moon at the same time.

I took the photos of the Willow and Maple today. You can see how clear the sky is.
I am feeling better today. I have gotten out and done errands, and just enjoyed some of the sunshine.

I have been reading quotes and wanted to share some with you.
These really spoke to me.
The Beginning is always today.
- Mary Wollstonecraft
The real voyage of discovery
consists not in seeking new
landscapes but in having new eyes.
- Marcel Proust

It is hard for me right now to have courage to face my tomorrows without John. But I have to do the best I can for my kids. I have to fight despair. And I think it is one of those things that most people say, " It takes time."
You never ever get over losing someone you love.
But I know time is a healer of wounds.
I leave you with this quote.
The longest Journey is
the journey inward.
-Dag Hammarskjold

This sparrow picture I took yesterday.

Happy Spring Nita,

What a beautiful day for you today compared to yesterdays weather. The full moon is amazing isn't it? It looks so huge. Your self portrait is very pretty and you are so young. The quote "The longest journey is the journey inward" is so true. It goes on forever but there are so many treasures to be discovered along the way. We always have Hope Nita, no one can take it away and I hear yours in your post.

Love and Blessings, Laurie in Ca.

Dear Nita,
Beautiful pictures and quotes. I'm glad you had a moment of peace today and got to feel the sun.

I love your flower self-portrait, I wish I could remove your pain and heartache.

I'm putting some stuff together for you this weekend, can't wait.

Nita, John will be with you every step of the way. Through his spirit you will find the courage. He is speaking to you in many different ways. Keep your eyes open for signs.

Have a blessed Easter!

Hugs and prayers- Andrea

Laurie: Happy Spring to you friend.
Today's weather was beautiful. This past week was horrible, we had some people evacuated from their homes here due to the flooding. We were lucky not to have been flooded so bad where I live. But we came close.
And there were 2 people who drowned 30 miles away from where I live due to the flooding.
The full moon is amazing. It was beautiful tonight but I could not get a good picture.
Thank you for the compliment on the self portrait.
We do have hope, don't we? As long as we have God we have hope.
I am grateful He gave His son for us.
I am so grateful for His salvation.
Hope you have a great Easter Laurie..

We have been cleaning and preparing for days.
John is the first person I ever had Easter dinner with. My family never had Easter dinner when I was growing up.
So I know I will be thinking of him..
We need him here so bad..
Thank you Shelley, Love Nita

This picture of you is beautiful. You are such a pretty lady and the flower just accents your pretty face.

I am so happy to hear you are feeling better today. The rain tends to be depressing anyway. IT is still raining here. The dreary days make one feel dreary.

I love the pictures of your beautiful blossoms. Spring is such a wonderful time of year. The sparrow is darling, looks as though he is saying happy first day of spring. The moon and sun at the same time...how amazing. That is all God's beauty.

Thinking of you today and praying everyday for you and your family.

God Bless You

have a loverly easter nita. i hope that butterflies of joy will fly to you...

today i went on a near field, where is lots of willows. i looked at them, just to way you looked them through your camera lens; i wanted to take photos from the furry little kittens, but did not have a camera with me. but i will go there again and will take bunch of photos. i would have wanted to make a own nest under the old willows, they looked so nurturing.

love and many hugs...
