When Autumn Leaves Start to Fall

We went to see John last night and guess what? He had his new SPORT BED! Thanks Lee for the advice. I asked about it after you told me about them. Check out Lee's site: Weber's World - Life on the Move, http://webersworld.blogsome.com/
Donna, I have asked about the Sulphur Powder, will get an answer today. Check out Donna's site: Made in Heaven, http://donna-madeinheaven.blogspot.com/
These are a few pictures from last night, John has received 86 cards now, he received a package yesterday from the children's Sunday school classes from our church. These pictures are of John and our daughter Elizabeth. The lights on the wall, we put up about in John's room to make it a little happier. My good friend Tonya organized it for the kids to use this past Sunday school time to make John cards. He was so happy, he was ready to cry. Tonya has been like this angel to me. She has helped me get rides back and forth to St. Louis and helped raise money to help us pay bills. She has the biggest heart I have ever seen. John's Aunt Carolyn has been good to me too. She has organized a Trivia Night for John and has asked me to post the flyer on my blog. We are in need of items for the silent auction for that night. She knows alot of my friends are artists and crafters and is asking that if anyone would make something for the auction she knows it would be valued greatly, it doesn't matter how big or small .If anyone wants to do this I will post the flyer below this post and I will give you information now. To contact Carolyn, here is her phone number and e-mail : Carolyn Sickmeier (618) 281-6132 or e-mail sickmeier@charter.net
If anyone is able to make in person that night I would love to met you. It would be nice to put a face to some of my friends. ~love nita~

Nita, That is awesome that John has a new bed that meets his needs. And SO cool that the Sunday school sent him a care package. You have an awesome supportive community. I was thinking of you and John last night while reading. I am currently plowing through "Joni" about Joni Eareckson. Have you read it or heard of her? She was a Christian icon in the 1970s, early '80s I think. Anyway, her story is very inspiring and I would love to send you the book. Let me know. ((Hugs)) to you both.

Stacy: Thank you for your kindness towards my family. I really never even wanted to post this because I hate asking for help from anyone, if Aunt Carolyn wouldn't have asked I wouldn't have. But she is impressed with all the people who are so artistic, and she knows people appreciate hand made items. God Bless. xoxo Nita

Hi Nita - I would like to donate something for the auction. I am here because of Dena and would like to tell you that I hope your husband feels better soon. I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I had a work related accident, but mine is nothing like John's. God Bless you both and blessings to your family,
