We are having a major ice and snow storm here in the Midwest. A huge limb off my Maple tree fell right after I went back inside from throwing some stale crackers out for the birds this morning.
I had been standing right where the limb fell. Isn't God good?
My head could have been bashed in, but instead he protected me.

I had to take Elizabeth to work in this mess so I went by the Dollar store while I was out. I got some Baby Breath seeds for the memorial garden for John. I also got an angel that has the Scripture: Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It is on a tablet with the angel above it.
I need to take some pictures and just post what I got because it is really neat.

I hope we don't lose our power today but it is a real possibility. It is one of the worst storms I have seen around here for awhile. It was just 70 degrees here a few days ago and now this.

I want to thank everyone who has left comments and e-mailed me. It means alot. love Nita

~Red Tin Heart~ said...: Susan: It was a mess! Our yard looked like a lagoon after all the ice and snow melted. Our neighbor's yard looked even worse than ours. I thank God it was not a worse storm than it was. Hope you are doing good friend. I have thought about you for 2 days. I was at Wal-Mart and saw material on sale and thought it would be great for your quilt making.
