I saw the Red Bud tree in the park as I drove past to go to my favorite spot to bird watch. I looked at it and was amazed at its beauty .

I had drove past that tree many times over the years, never really looking at it thoroughly. But the other day I stopped to look at it.

A huge limb was broken off . And it had a crack that ran down the side of it.

At the base of the trunk it had a huge hollow spot with a hole in it. You could see through the hole to the other side.

Yet, the tree was blooming.

She was broken, cracked and even hollow. Yet she was alive and was blooming.

My heart leaped at that.

She was living...
She was blooming....

Hi Nita, a beautiful tree and what a lesson it is teaching ."Though God slay me,yet will I trust him".
Nita, you are so much like this tree and I believe the Lord showed it to you for this reason.... The redbud is one of my favorites.

We have those trees too. I can see them from my balcony.

You got the message! I got it when I saw plants breaking through rock and cement and growing.
