Dreams

I dreamed of my brother last night and woke up crying. It is so hard during this time of the year, because he passed away 7 years ago on August 8. The dream seemed so real. We were talking about how he wanted to travel, and we were drinking ice tea.

When I was little he babysat me and my little sister. He would take us for picnics, and we would walk across town just to go swimming.

He made us take shortcuts through the cemetery, and tell us ghost stories to scare us. Then we would go home and watch Gilligan's Island and he would make Spaghetti O's . I miss him.

I love that it's the simple things that mean such strong, sweet memories! Don't let go!
