In The Arms Of An Angel by Sarah Mclachlan

This is one of my favorite songs. It is how I really feel right now.
Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it o.k.
There's always some reason to feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction oh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
They may be empty and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of the angel fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel; may you find some comfort here
So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn there's vultures and thieves at your back
The storms keep on twisting, you keep on building the lies that you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time it's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness That brings me to my knees
In the arms of an Angel far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
In the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here
You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here

Nita, those are beautiful words. Even if it's just 15 minutes a day, find time to get away to your angel whether it's napping, crafting, or just closing your eyes and listening to music. You need that right now and your soul will be better for it. Hugs to you!

Oh Nita, this song was my companion during a very difficult time back many years ago. I can hear it clearly in my head as I read it here on your blog. Truly you are both being held in the arms of an angel. I am thinking of you and praying that your inner strength builds more and more each day chasing fear and doubt away; that joy and happiness fill you beyond measure in a way that is a solid testament to the love you both have for each other. I keep you close to my heart and think ONLY good and positive thoughts for John and his homcoming.

Nita dear, someone once said to me, "Don't think beyond this day, even this hour...... find something to be grateful for each hour, each day. Rest in the fact that nothing is in your control except your thoughts.
Play the sweetest and most peaceful music you have and lift yourself up.
Say out loud "There is nothing more powerful than love"
and please e-mail me your snail mail addy.

Dear Nita,
You are always just a thought away from the peace and comfort of your angles.
This is a beautiful song! Love is God right in your heart!
